Perancangan kota yang berkembang pesat sering kali menyisakan ruang-ruang yang hilang (lost space), yang tidak terdefinisi. Ruang semacam ini terbentuk akibat perencanaan infrastruktur dan perubahan tata guna lahan. Demikian juga dengan pembangunan bangunan komersil yang cenderung berorientasi kedalam dan menghasilkan ruang-ruang terbuka. Re-inventing Bandung bertujuan menghasilkan gagasan berupa intervensi arsitektural yang mampu memperbaiki kondisi ruang-ruang yang hilang di Bandung dan mengupayakan atau menghasilkan ruang-ruang kota yang lebih bermakna. Agenda kegiatan Re-inventing Bandung akan diisi oleh presentasi, pameran karya, dan talkshow yang berupa presentasi dan diskusi dari peserta kegiatan.
