(Then, Now, Forever SAPARUA)

As we are approaching the end of Helar Festival 2008 Bandung, we have two events on this Saturday (30th) and one on this Sunday.

On Saturday morning we have a Jampana Festival as a part of Sundanese Cultural Festivities. There will be lots of community gathering up on Bandung Cityhall at 8.00 am, with their own Coat of Arms, Jampana and Seba (Cultivation offerings to be given back to the people of Bandung), parading from the City Hall to Saparua Park.

Each community will wear attractive clothes and will be doing a non-gasoline transporation parade, with bicyles, skateboards, rollerskates, horses, delman (a kind of chariot) and so on.

The parade ends on Saparua park where they will be greeted by the Bandung Youth Park Fest comittee and continue with the event over there.

The City Subdistrict (Kecamatan) Gapura [National Day's Decorative Gate] Competition, with the City Mayor Running-Award as the prize.

Bandung Youth Park Fest* itself would be one of the biggest Music & Youth event of the year, with performances from 37 legendary bands (Burgerkill, Jeruji, Pure Saturday, Jasad; Mocca, The Milo, The S.I.G.I.T) and 12 DJs, there also will be exciting exhibition booth of youth culture (Visual Movement, Arts Movement, BMX, Skateboard, Enviromental Movement, Public Space Campaign, Saparua Revitalization Design Competition)
