Western Javan Surili (Presbytis comata comata) a.k.a Grizzled Leaf Monkey is the endemic monkey of West Java that are currently listed on the IUCN red list of endangered species because of habitat loss due to human activity. They are smart, agile, have a great sense of humour and likes to gather arround. Helar Festival 2008 adalah sebuah rangkaian kegiatan perayaan yang ditujukan untuk menampilkan berbagai potensi ekonomi kreatif yang berkembang dalam lingkup kota Bandung. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu program yang dikembangkan oleh Bandung Creative City Forum, sebagai bagian dari strategi jangka panjang pengembangaan platform ekonomi kreatif yang berkelanjutan di kota Bandung. Upaya untuk mengembangkan platform ekonomi kreatif di kota Bandung selama ini dirintis secara mandiri oleh berbagai komunitas masyarakat yang tergabung dalam Bandung Creative City Forum. Selain Helar Festival 2008, forum ini juga menginisiasi pengembangan strategi branding dan membangun jaringan kerja sebagai upaya untuk mengukuhkan kota Bandung sebagai kota kreatif yang siap berkompetisi secara global.
