Bandung Creative City Forum (BCCF), yang mewadahi berbagai kegiatan dan keahlian dari beragam disiplin sub-sektor industri kreatif, telah sepakat melahirkan suatu identitas. Identitas yang mengikat komunitas kreatif dan para pemangku-kepentingan (stakeholders) pada visi Bandung sebagai kota kreatif.

Ekspresi visual identitas digambarkan dalam karakter tipografi-huruf  (dot).bdg. Di dalam kerangka tipografi ini dapat diisi dengan motif maupun warna sesuai karakter dari masing-masing pelaku kegiatan ekonomi kreatif yang bernaung di dalam forum cair berbasis komunitas tersebut. Dengan karakter yang sederhana sehingga mudah diingat dan mampu menarik perhatian yang memenuhi syarat prinsip sebuah eksistensi identitas
