elarfest is series of events showcasing the emerging creative culture in Bandung city, West Java - Indonesia. Organized by BCCF, Helarfest 2009 will be held from October to December 2009, with each one of its 70+ events is hosted independently by 30+ creative communities.

Helarfest incorporate various activities and programs that presents a wide selection of creative works in the field of Music, Film, Art, Architecture, Media, Design, Technology, Traditional Culture & Heritage, Environment and many more in local and global scale. The spectacular quantity generated made this festival is the biggest city-wide festival in South East Asia, making Bandung the forefront of emerging creative city in Asia.

Semoga upaya Bandung sebagai tuan rumah Olimpiade Internasional di bidang astronomy dan astrofisika ini, membangkitkan semangat warga Bandung untuk mendukung pendidikan yang berkualitas. Sudah lama kita melupakan bahwa Bandung adalah satu-satunya kota di Indonesia yang memiliki pendidikan astronomi dan sebuah teropong bintang bersejarah Boscha.
